The next big show at the Garrick is Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, which opens on Thursday 22 October and plays through half term. The biggest night outdoors is Bowdon Bonfire on Friday 6 November, and Remembrance Sunday follows two days later. Before then come Altrincham FC’s home games on 10 and 27 October, the town’s Halloween trail, two free library discos and a full half term at Waterside in Sale and at Dunham Massey.

Getting there

The Garrick, the Town Hall and St George’s are all a short walk from Altrincham Interchange. With the tram off from 19 October to 1 November, more people will drive, and the town centre car parks fill first on Saturdays.
